Audiology Ann Raabe, M.S., CCC-A & Laura Vinopal, Au.D, CCC-A
Helping you enjoy all the sounds of life.
REASONS TO SEE AN AUDIOLOGIST 1. Dizziness (light-headed/unsteadiness) or vertigo (whirling sensation) 2. Ringing, buzzing or other noises in the head, or ear(s) 3. Pain in either ear 4. Drainage from either ear 5. Sudden or gradual hearing loss in either ear 6. Fluctuating hearing 7. Existing hearing loss 8. Frequent exposure to loud noises
If any of these symptoms are present, it is important to have your hearing evaluated to help determine if your ear/hearing/balance problem requires medical treatment, or whether hearing instruments would help. Call the Audiology Department, or talk to your healthcare provider, if you notice or have any of these symptoms or problems.
Mile Bluff’s audiologists each have earned a master's degree in audiology or higher, and collectively have almost 25 years of experience as audiologists. They have earned their nationally recognized Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology, and are licensed by the state as audiologists. BENEFITS OF A MEDICAL PERSPECTIVE: Not all hearing and balance issues require the same treatment. It is important to see professionally trained audiologists like Ann and Laura, to help identify, prevent and manage your hearing and balance problems. They will lead you in the right direction, seeking help from hearing instruments, or even medication, physical therapy and/or surgery.Call 608 847 1414 or 1 800 252 4377 (in WI) TTY: 608 847 6910 |
